Meet the owner

If one word could ever condense what Melisa Soued is, it would have to be “Artist”. Melisa is driven by her creative vision of the world. Period. When you meet her, you soon realize how many ideas are exploding within her, while she interweaves all the aspects of an event production that is totally adapted to the personality of the client that she is connecting with. There is a unique flow of imagination, spark, spontaneity and inventiveness that rise up with each and every bride and groom, business owner, future parent, or any person who is seeking for her out-of-the-box and trend-setting event designs. Working with her is for sure an experience.

Melisa takes her work personally. There is no distance between herself and her creations, and that is an attribute difficult to find within this industry. She goes deep into every detail in order to shape and give life to an event that will go beyond her client’s dreams, way into the unexpected beauty of it. That is what fulfills her the most. This is her true and honest passion, her breath of air, her soul. All her event productions magically end up establishing a conversation with her clients when the “curtain rises” and they enter into the salon, creating a moment of instant happiness and true awe. Her “wow” factor dwells right in that perfect instant of communication, surprise and admiration.

Melisa’s story is very interesting. She studied Communications & Advertising in Florida International University (FIU), and received her Master’s degree in International Marketing. She then worked as an Advertising Creative as well as a Corporate Events Director for different companies. Melisa later co-founded a floral & event design company named Flowersloft, from which she moved away after the urge to pursue her own artistic vision. But she wasn’t always related to the wedding & event industry, and her story is really worth sharing because it actually determines her distinctive effort and vigor.

Melisa recalls the planning of her own wedding as anything similar to what she dreamed of. She felt really lost and didn’t have anybody to help or guide her throughout the process of crafting the most important day of her life. On the big day, she even forgot the party favors for the so expected Latin “crazy hour”. This experience touched her deeply and certainly encouraged her to help avoid other brides to go through this same situation. That’s the reason why Melisa became an event designer & planner, as well as a flower artist, and it’s what indeed justifies how she actually is within her company: a perfectionist, meticulous, passionate, committed and truly caring individual.
